❗CAUTION: Mixed coating is moisture sensitive. Use water traps in all airlines. Moisture contact may reduce pot life and affect Gloss. Do not use mixed product beyond pot life.

Application Guide

Surface Preparation:

  • Polimaster 675 must be applied over a properly prepared and primed substrate.

  • For smooth concrete or metal, apply directly on Coatguard 110 High Build Primer.

  • For rough or porous concrete, first apply Coatguard 114 Self-Priming Epoxy Mastic Midcoat. 1–3 coats may be required depending on the surface roughness.

  • When applying over Coatguard 114, allow full curing, then sand up to grit #100 and vacuum thoroughly to remove all dust.

  • Ensure all surfaces are dry, structurally sound, and free of oil, grease, contaminants, or loose particles.

Mixing Instructions:

  • Mix Part A and Part B at a 3:1 ratio by volume.

  • Stir thoroughly for 3–5 minutes using a low-speed mechanical mixer (300–400 RPM) until uniform and streak-free.

  • Thin the mixture using Syntex Thinner #90, typically 5–10% by volume, to achieve proper application viscosity.

  • Only prepare enough material that can be applied within the pot life (refer to TDS for timing).

Application Method:

  • Apply using a lint-free high-tensile roller for even distribution across floors and flat surfaces.

  • For precision or detail areas, use a brush.

  • For large or vertical surfaces, air spray or airless spray is suitable.

  • Designed for a two-coat application as a topcoat.

  • For floor markings (arrows, lines, signage), apply an additional two coats to ensure durability and visibility.

  • Allow 4 hours before recoating with the second layer under normal conditions (25–30°C, 50% RH).

  • Avoid excessive rolling or overlapping strokes to prevent lap marks and gloss inconsistency.

  • Begin application from the side opposite the exit, working backward to avoid stepping on freshly applied coating.

Safety Precautions:

  • Use PPE including gloves, goggles, and a respirator, especially in areas with poor ventilation or enclosed spaces.

  • Ensure adequate airflow during and after application to support proper curing and to minimize solvent buildup.
